Bridge

Continuing with notions of connection, intimacy and relation, Bridge is a sculpture made from two binoculars connected with each other by two tubes. It presents as an intermediary, an in-between, opening the possibility to reflect and connect through a simple gesture, such as, eye contact. The audience is invited to simultaneously activate the piece by using it with another person, detonating dynamics of intimacy, relation, confrontation and even affection. Such gesture may open diverse layers and nuances that deal with the politics of communication, social relations and above all, opacity.
