Archipiélago is a body of work made during a residency at Fondazione Pistoletto, Biella Italy, where Jimenez developed diverse works in an entangled and parallel way. An archipelago of poems. Looking for ways to not answer but rather go deeper in the question of how can poetic approaches serve as means of relation between oneself and the other - say, a given context, phenomena, agency, or space - these subtle and idle alterations in public space are not intended as interventions, but as interactions. Daily strategies of relation that wonders and wanders around what an Other means and can mean.

Walking in circles, reflecions with a mirror, making a contra-monument to the Cervo River, writing ambiguous messages in a basketball court, giving flowers to strangers, unravelling and ravelling a ball of wool along the river, spitting a chewed clementine to a monument, drawing parking squares around cars, making frottages of the city’s sewers, modulating sculptures with found objects, or turning the residency room into a possible platform of identity reflection and constant transformation: these were some of the (inter)actions made during the residence aiming to disseminate the political, social, cultural and poetic conditions around the context of Biella, whilst hinting the possibility of a butterfly effect.
