Intimediaries

The body of work Intimediaries consists of a series of sculptures that emerge from the re-coding of everyday objects. The transformations that arise in the pieces invite the spect-actors to be participating agents in relational gestures that encourage the creation of an intimate, social, affective and therefore ethical spacetime.
Operating both virtually and real, the Intimediries seek to create links between spectators so that the agencies at play emerge and relate through the opacity of the event, the objects and each member.
In 2023, I started calling them intimediaries by combining the word Intimacy with Intermediary. Likewise, on a theoretical level I began to call these sculptural situations as the creation of an Eventobject; objects-sculptures that happen, that incite action and that perform. Ultimatley they propose other forms of mutual perception, sensibilities and social interactions.
